There's an obvious reason why General Santos City is dubbed as the Philippines' Tuna Capital City. With all the abundant, gigantic, fresh
tuna that could be found here, the city has emerged to be one of the biggest exporters of Tuna in Asia. It is only natural then that the city starts its day with salt water and ends it with salt water.

I know this shoot was supposed to be African-inspired but given all the elements that are present in the photos (that I honestly only noticed upon processing them), I think I'll have to say that this shoot was uhmmm... Tribal-inspired. Haha! I don't even know. What do you think? Nevertheless, I am thoroughly blessed to have friends who are willing to put up with my madness. Isn't it wonderful to do the thing you love most with friends around?

summer.

There's something about summer that makes everything look beautiful. Ignoring the fact that the reason is probably the intense heat of the sun, everything sparkles and gleams more than the usual. I know it always feels like summer here in the Philippines but somehow, it isn't truly summer yet until there are no more kids inside the classrooms. Yes, summer here means a long break from school and with that break marks endless fun under the sun.
